She’s inspired women across the world with her dramatic weight loss.
But it seems Jennifer Hudson still has another trick or two up her sleeve when it comes to showing off her newly svelte figure.
And last night was no exception as the star slipped into an optical illusion dress, which arguably made her look skinnier than ever.

The zig-zag lines of the sequinned outfit had the effect of drawing in the eye and making her waist appear even smaller.
Hudson, 29, was pictured in New York at the city’s Tenjune venue for the launch of her new album, I Remember Me.
She looked immaculate in her dress, which she teamed with heels and hot pink lipstick.

Jennifer says she’s dropped from a U.S. size 16 to a size 6 by embarking on the Weight Watchers regime and hitting the gym five times a week.
Meanwhile, stills have been released of Hudson as Winnie Mandela in a new film role.
The Dreamgirls star plays the wife of former South African president Nelson Mandela.

The movie, Winnie, also features Terrence Howard as Nelson Mandela and the pair are seen sharing a kiss in one scene.
Oscar-winner Jennifer said of the biopic role: ‘It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I can’t wait for the world to see this. Her story is so powerful and amazing.’
The mother of one has previously told how she slept in solitary confinement in a prison cell for several days to prepare for the part.
